With the recent uproar over how the reality show “Basketball Wives” promotes bullying, I felt the strong need to expose just how bad these women make themselves look…..with a little spoofing.

Yesterday after getting gas at the gas station around the corner form my house, the battery died on me-right at the pump! Should’ve know because I was having interior light issues for about a week. I obviously needed a jump so began asking around for jumper cables.

The first man I asked checked his trunk and said he didn’t have any but did offer to call his AAA for me. I politely said I didn’t want to take up his day with the wait and would surely find someone to help me being I was “at” a gas station. He said okay and drove off.

One man offered to remove his battery and flip it to charge mine but didn’t have the tools to do so. Another sweet offer but I was patient and calm as more customers pulled into the lot. 10 more customers and still no cables.

10 minutes later, the first man I asked returned with a new pair of cables. He gave me the jump and told me to keep them. He wouldn’t accept my money. His name was “David”. I shook his hand and am still impressed by his thoughtful gesture from a complete stranger. Heart warming huh?

I had a wonderful evening at the Savoy Entertainment Center in Inglewood, LA last night. I was there to support my good friend Bowlegged Lou and his brothers as they held a premiere for their much anticipated VH1 “Unsung” episode.

While most people simply remember them as the bullies from the 80′s movie “House Party”. Others may only remember their hit song from the movie “Ain’t My Type Of Hype” and leave it there. These guys are true pioneers and have produced for artist such as Lisa Lisa, UTFO, N’Sync, James Brown, Brittney Spears, Rihanna and many many more. They are currently working with a new Latin artist named “Crystal Clear”.

Unsung? Perhaps “Under-appreciated” but still going strong-indeed!

I was out celebrating a girlfriends birthday last night at Pinz. I knew these guys were competitive so KNEW I had to bring my A game and I DID. First game was a 126, second beat all with a whooping 170 (under the name “Brooklyn”) and the last game, well, I fell off with a 118 which isn’t terrible at all. Not bad for not having bowled in a good year or two, I must add.

Pinz which is located at 12655 Ventura Boulevard in Studio City has a late night bowling deal: $16 for unlimited bowling and this includes shoes. They’ve a full restaurant/diner and bar attached and play TV and music videos all night. Fun times.
